The Finance Department's primary functions are to provide departmental administrative and support services such as budgeting, revenue collections, department expenditures, accounting, data processing and payroll.

Responsible for the administration of the City's financial planning and management, collecting and recording revenue9 managing the City's cash flow and investments, maintaining usable data processing equipment9 accounting for all fixed assets of the City and keeping the City's accounting system in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Responsible for the preparation and execution monitoring of the annual budget and for providing assistance to the departments in departmental budget preparation.
