Street and Roads Department

The Street Department's primary functions are to provide routine maintenance to all the streets and sidewalks in the city.

• Improves drainage by installation of curb and gutter and pipe
• Repairs all streets, right-of-ways and drainage within the city limits
• Repairs sidewalks
• Patches utility cuts for Electric City Utilities and City of Anderson Wastewater Treatment
• Provides labor and equipment to various city divisions for special projects
