Orr Street Restoration

Orr Street Regional Detention Pond
The Orr Street Regional Detention Pond has an urbanized drainage area of about 270 acres. Failed corrugated metal pipe was removed and the channel was restored to a more natural condition. The Orr Street Regional detention Pond has some storm water attenuation capacity with a peak flow reduction of about 2 percent. This project will reduce maintenance costs and improve water quality for a tributary of the Rocky River.
