The Soirée offers a welcoming collection of hands-on activities and games thoughtfully designed for kids of all ages. Through interactive play and creative activities, young festivalgoers can engage in experiences that keep them entertained and excited to return year after year.

We are excited to welcome the Herbert and Friends Petting Zoo on Saturday only from 10 am - 5 pm!

Anderson County Library

We're partnering with the Library to bring their new bookmobile and a Dino World to Kids Kingdom!

Anderson County Library

Come learn more about the library, visit their new Bookmobile, and chill out in their cooling station! Play games and participate in dinosaur-related crafts and games, including a dino dig, cave drawings, and dino masks. Take a photo with their massive 12-foot dinosaur and get a library card while you're at it!

Mystical Events of the Upstate will be joining us on Friday and Saturday from 5 - 7 pm!

Character Meet and Greet

On Friday, meet Batman, Spider-Gwen, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and Belle! On Saturday, meet Spider-Man, Captain America, Moana, Ariel, and Glinda! Join us at Carolina Wren Park on Saturday, April 25, 1:30–2:00 PM for a magical sing-along experience with Ariel, Glinda, and Elphaba.

Frequently Asked Questions

All activities in Kids Kingdom are free, except for face painting (Saturday only) and balloon animals.

Crafts and games are run by volunteers, but parents are required to supervise their children while in Kids Kingdom. 

Yes! A hand washing station will be close by.

Nope! Just show up and have fun! 

In March we hosted a Kidpreneur Lab, which walked students step-by-step through the entrepreneurial process—from brainstorming and branding to pricing and pitching. In just one day, they developed a business idea, created a brand identity, determined pricing, and built the confidence to present their concept like a true CEO. These students were given the opportunity to sell their goods at the Soiree! 5 young entrepreneurs will have booths in Kids Kingdom on Saturday only from 10am – 12pm. Come shop from the following young entrepreneurs!

Lee Bagwell – Selling Hand painted Oyster Shells
