Giovanni A. Calise is an Instructor of Marketing in the College of Business at Anderson University, where he teaches courses in consumer behavior, internet marketing, new product development, marketing management, and negotiations. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, an MBA from the University of Rhode Island, and a bachelor’s degree in communications and film from Rhode Island College. Before entering higher education, Giovanni built a strong professional background in digital marketing, product management, media strategy, CRM development, and corporate training, including leading digital sales training for a $100+ million media company and helping drive a 20% increase in divisional gross revenue. His consulting and training work has supported businesses, nonprofits, chambers of commerce, and community organizations in areas such as branding, social media strategy, digital media campaigns, website development, lead nurturing, and marketing automation. Giovanni brings a practical, entrepreneurial, and strategy-driven approach to training, helping professionals connect marketing concepts to real-world growth, communication, and business results.
